The Pulse 150 Ultrasonic Homogenizer utilizes cavitation and ultrasonic waves to efficiently disrupt cells in suspension, shear DNA, and prepare samples for ChIP assays. With a powerful 150W output, it can handle sample volumes ranging from 0.1 ml to 150 ml when paired with the appropriate horn. All components needed for homogenization are included with the Pulse 150 – a controller, transducer, temperature probe, 6 mm diameter titanium alloy horn and wrenches to change horns. A soundproof box with sample platform is also supplied as standard. The box reduces the noise generated by the sonicator. The 6mm horn is appropriate for volumes from 10ml to 100ml. Optional horns are available for other volumes.
The homogenizer features a 4.3-inch color touch screen for easy programming and operation, allowing users to set and view parameters with ease. The pulsed operation can be finely tuned, and the device stores up to 20 programs in its memory for quick recall. Alarms notify users of over-temperature, over/no load, and end-of-run conditions, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The Pulse 150 is a versatile tool that meets the demands of various laboratory applications, providing reliable and reproducible results.
