The iSWAB™-Animal DNA Collection Kit is designed for non-invasive and humane DNA sample collection from animals. The kit includes a 400uL iSWAB™-ANML device, a swab, a biohazard bag with an absorbent pad, an extra barcode label for lab use, an "Exempt Human Specimen" label, and an outer box for mailing samples. This device maintains DNA integrity at the point of collection and eliminates the need for cold chain storage by allowing samples to be stored at room temperature for over 3 years.
With iSWAB™-ANML, DNA samples are collected and the swab is discarded, significantly reducing processing time, effort, and costs. The device's non-toxic and non-hazardous design ensures safe sample collection from a variety of animal species. The iSWAB™-ANML device produces high yields of double-stranded, long-fragment DNA, ideal for applications such as genotyping, microarray, and next-generation sequencing (NGS). Additionally, the proprietary buffer ensures less than 3% bacterial contamination, making it suitable for high-quality DNA analysis.

It captures high yields of double-stranded, long-fragment DNA (2-7µg) with less than 3% bacterial contamination, suitable for genotyping, microarray, and NGS.
Storage and Stability: Pre-collection stability is 3 years at 15-30°C. Post-collection, samples are stable for 60 days at room temperature, with accelerated stability up to 3 years. For extended storage, samples can be kept at -20 to -80°C.
